Dac training – Digital accessibility centre Personally, I feel like I didn’t learn a tremendous amount in this workshop but one thing that really stood out to me is seeing how a personal with real disabilities makes use of technology to assist them with navigating a webpage. What people usually associate disability with... When disability is talked about, the average person usually thinks about one kind of disability only - a person who sits in a wheelchair and can’t walk. The truth is, someone does not need to be in a wheelchair to be disabled. As website designers, we think about so many different factors, but often making them accessible is at the bottom of our priority, WCAG 2.1 Best design, techniques, code samples. Accessibility is ensuring that all web based platforms and applications are accessible to ALL regardless of ability or age.
